‘La Moda Animada’ is a spread fetured in Elle Spain‘s April 2010 issue that takes some of todays amazing designers and turns them into Disney cartoon characters! Designers featured are Karl Lagerfeld as Big Bad Wolf, Marc Jacobs as Donald Duck, Dolce & Gabbana as Goofy and Mickey Mouse, Donatella Versace as Daisy Duck, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Alber Elbaz and Sonia Nathalie Rykiel. Come on, how cute is this!!

Dr. Martens turns 50!

To celebrate their 50 years , the iconic Dr. Martens has partnered with 10 differents recording artists to record 10 songs complete with music videos where they rock the footwear.S ome of my favorite artists are including in this 10, namely The Cinematic Orchestra, N.A.S.A and the Raveonettes!

Three of the videos have just been released and the remaining 7 are to be released between May 17th and Nov 1st, 2010.

Alice + Olivia X MAC

Ok so I jumped for joy when I found out that Alice + Olivia are collaborating with MAC Cosmetics!! The designer Stacey Bendet Eisner of Alice + Olivia has teamed up with MAC to create a limited edition color cosmetics collection. The summer collection includes three new dazzleglass cremes, three new pigments, and three new nail lacquers.The collection is slated to hit MAC counters and online on July 8th, prices range from $14.50CDN to $23.50CDN.

Sparklicious: Creamy pale pinky white with soft multi-dimensional pearlized pigments

The once hot denim brand founded in 2002, Rock & Republic, has filed for bankruptcy as reported in BusinessWeek. So if you love their pricey jeans, its time to go to the stores and buy whats left!

April means sample sales in Montreal which mean no money in my pocket!! Then again, you can find good finds for quite cheap!

Some Tom Ford on my lips please

I dont do lipstick, lip gloss, lip shine, lip plump... maybe some clear lip balm but thats it. However, I may try the new Tom Ford capsule collection of lipstcks "Tom Ford" which will be available in 12 shades. Love the modern sleek and elegant in ivory and gold packaging and like the sound of the ingredient list that includea soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil to make the texture creamy, plus a whack of treated pigment so the shades stay true. This collection will be in stores in the month of June and priced at around 45$.

Lindsay Lohan Fashion Designer

InStyle magazine has reported that this fall, Lindsay Lohan’s 6126 line will be expanding beyond its signature leggings into a full collection. The 280 pieces, which retail from $60 to $1000, include edgy minidresses and a draped, gold leather vest, as well as fall staples like chunky cardigans and embellished hoodies. What is her inspiration? Marylin Monroe and her timeless glamour! Will you wear it?

Coco Cola X Karl Lagerfeld

Coca-Cola has teamed up with none other than the infamous designer, Karl Lagerfeld to design a limited edition box set! The aluminum bottle is definetly on my wish list! The unique box in limited edition, accompanied with a bottle-opener discreetly hidden in a drawer.” The box set is currently available for pre-order at collette for about US$81, love it!

The ad ampaign was shot by Karl Lagerfeld and features Coco Rocha (Canada represent!!) and Baptiste Giabiconi sipping/holding the limited edition aluminum bottle that he designed. Oh boy, I need to get my hands on this bottle!!!!
