I was just perusing the web for work and blogging research when oddly I stumbled across an Andy Capp drawing. This exact drawing use to be framed in my dad's office many many years ago. Just made me remember that there was at least one man in my life that was awesome. A needed sign for today.

New Era Web Series

New Era, the international headwear company and official on-field caps worn by every Major League Baseball player, has an ongoing web series called “Rivalry”. My favorite one is between John Krasinski and Alec Baldwin and their allegiances to their hometown baseball teams, the Yankees and the Red Sox. It is quite awesome.

Target is Coming!!

Target announced it is buying Zellers store leases across Canada and plans to open some of the retail facilities under its own name in 2013 and 2014. The American retail giant will be taking over 220 Zellers locations.

I am so excited since I have a Zellers two blocks from my house! Are you excited for the change?

MCoeur Music of the Day: TV on the Radio

The new album from TV on the Radio, Nine Types of Light, has been in my ears on repeat for the last bit. It still saddens me that we lost one of the members, Gerard Smith, to cancer in late April of this year. There first track of this album to be released as a music video was Will Do and definitely one of my favorite songs, it gives me shivers.

Violent lips has created wet-and-apply makeup for your mouth in some bold patterns including leopard, glitter, rainbow, lace, and polka-dots. The company even offers a DIY instructional video on how to apply. I am not sure how amazing this trend is, I think it is a little freaky. What do you think?
