WeSC hearts Montreal

Saw this as I was walking home today and couldn't help share with you my excitement (and my unskilled photography). It seems that the Swedish streetwear brand will have a flagship store on the corner of Ste-Catherine and Bishop street. Rumor has it that owners from a pretty well known streetwear store a few blocks down are a part of this new endeavor..all to be determined in time. Hmm..wonder if they can have some hot swedish boys work there for my viewing pleasure :)

Incase X Andy Warhol: Part Deux

Speaking of Andy Warhol...Incase, founded in 1997 to protect the technology we hold close to us, is releasing a second collection inspired by the iconic artist. This collection will showcase various types of media art that Warhol used such as silkscreening (Elvis) and film (Empire).

The collection is already available on the Incase's website.

Made Me X Stussy

To celebrate their upcoming collaboration, Made Me and Stussy introduce you to a rocker chick with plenty of attitude "Miss Poly Styrofoam". This digital project is to launch the 12 piece collection inspired by the early punk look of the 80s featuring a leather moto jacket, denim jacket, tees, and much more.

Smurfette for Harper's Bazaar

My sister and I were huge fans of Smurfs when we were kids and collected a lot of the little figurines. I am not sure about the upcoming movie but Harper's Bazaars' idea of using Smurfette in the August issue is simply fabu! The Smurfette fashion spread showcases Fall 2011 best acessories from Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton and more!!

WeSC X Anna Sheffield Bing Bang

Next month, the Swedish brand WeSC will release their collaboration with Anna Sheffield, the jewelry designer behind Bing Bang. This street style collection got it's inspiration from downtown New York City, the punk movement as well as Victorian references. I am in love with this collection especially the headphones and the "forever" necklace. Prices range between 80$US and 120$US.

This is a very cute collaboration between an American streetwear brand, Married to the Mob, and a Parisian artist, Fafi, that believe strong tough ladies can remain feminine. The t-shirts are on sale now.

New Era Web Series

New Era, the international headwear company and official on-field caps worn by every Major League Baseball player, has an ongoing web series called “Rivalry”. My favorite one is between John Krasinski and Alec Baldwin and their allegiances to their hometown baseball teams, the Yankees and the Red Sox. It is quite awesome.

Target is Coming!!

Target announced it is buying Zellers store leases across Canada and plans to open some of the retail facilities under its own name in 2013 and 2014. The American retail giant will be taking over 220 Zellers locations.

I am so excited since I have a Zellers two blocks from my house! Are you excited for the change?
