Keep X Animal Collective

From my ears down to my toes, one of my favorite bands, Animal Collective, have teamed up with Keep Company to design four limited-edition pairs of kicks. Each pair will be designed by one of the members of the band.

The first pair features a ghost pattern drawn by Avey Tare, founder of the band, and will be realeased in March 2011. All the profits will be donated to the Socorro Island Conservation Fund, a nonprofit that helps to preserve the Revillagigedo Archipelago off Baja, California, which is an ecosystem under constant threat from illegal fishing that is particularly damaging to the shark population. You can preorder your pair here, all advance sales get a bonus musical surprise!

It has finally been confirmed, yippee, Lanvin will be the next designer to colaborate with the Swerdish fashion store. Mark you calendars, on November 23rd, the collection hits over 200 H&M stores worldwide!

I was browsing through the Karmaloop store website today and I notice that DeLux is carrying some very cute hats for the upcoming Fall season. Not a brand I always think of for hats since Montreal (and me!) has taken a very big liking to the brand Brixton but I think this Fall season, it might be time to change it up!

I will always love Golden Girls especially Rose Nylund from Saint-Olaf. However, this new hipster Betty White hype worries me at times, could we stop talking about how she hosted "Saturday Night Live" now? Yet, I do acknowledge how great it is that she is still kicking acting ass at 88 years old and that new generations are getting to love her as much as older ones did.

So what better than to wear your love and support a cause at the same time?

Introducing the Betty White Collection, a new unisex clothing line that produces T-shirts and hoodies, prices ranging from 28$US to 48$US. A portion of proceeds will benefit one of White's favorite causes, the Morris Animal Foundation.

Another collaboration is coming up for MAC, this time, the infamous cosmetics company is teaming up with fashion line, Rodarte. On September 15, Rodarte will unveil the color cosmetics collection inspired by their Fall 2010 runway show. What are they trying to capture in a bottle, you may ask yourself? The inspiration of the Fall 2010 show which was a dreamy sleepworld within the Mexican desert.
