From my ears down to my toes, one of my favorite bands, Animal Collective, have teamed up with Keep Company to design four limited-edition pairs of kicks. Each pair will be designed by one of the members of the band.
The first pair features a ghost pattern drawn by Avey Tare, founder of the band, and will be realeased in March 2011. All the profits will be donated to the Socorro Island Conservation Fund, a nonprofit that helps to preserve the Revillagigedo Archipelago off Baja, California, which is an ecosystem under constant threat from illegal fishing that is particularly damaging to the shark population.
