Underbelly Project

The Underbelly Project is the sum of 18 months, 103 street artist and an abandoned subway tunnel in New York city. This street art collaboration was only unveiled for two hours to a reporter from the NY times and his camera due to the illegality of the project.

Once the tour with the reporter was completed, all the equipment to get in and out of the tunnel was destroyed. One of the street artists explained the reason behind this decision: “We’re not under the illusion that no one will ever see it,” Workhorse said. “But what we are trying to do is to discourage it as much as possible.”
“If you go in there and break your neck, nobody’s going to hear you scream,” he said — at least assuming there are no track workers around. “You’re just going to have to hope that someone is going to find you before you die.”

I guess that is where the seduction lies...
